Recipe for Christmas Leftover Turkey

This recipe is a follow-up to my last post about Christmas turkey. I have thought that for those people who are really resourceful and love to experiment, they can make a Turkey Pot Pie from the turkey leftover. After enjoying your Christmas turkey and Wine, you can easily prepare a dessert out from leftover. Isn't it very practical? I guess it is not only practical but you would really enjoy the taste of this dessert so please check this out.

Turkey Pot Pie

2 Cups Chopped Leftover Christmas Turkey
1 Can Veg- All
1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup
2 Pre Made Pie Crusts or if your feeling brave make your own

Pre Heat Oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit or 177 Celsius
Combine Turkey, Veg-All, Soup and mix well
Place bottom crust in 9 inch pie pan
Add Turkey Mixture
Place the Top Crust on and trim the excess crust
Pinch the edges of the crust together and poke a few
Holes in the top crust with a tooth pick
Make a design if your artistic

Bake for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown

Now for the brave
Basic Pie Crust Recipe

2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Shortening
1\2 Cup Water

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water until mixture forms a ball. Divide dough in half, and shape into balls. Wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Roll out dough on a floured counter. Don't over work it.

Personally, much easier to buy the crust.
